Operation Christmas Child

It is that time of year for families to find a shoebox or small plastic container and begin the journey of a shoebox Christmas gift.  This Samaritan’s Purse outreach of packing a shoebox of gifts for boys and girls in need is definitely a blessing, and offers an opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus to children in over 130 countries.  Information pamphlets on how to pack your shoe box are available in the foyer beginning today.  Wrapped boxes will be collected during services on Sunday, November 15.  Most importantly, let’s begin praying for these children that will receive these gifts of love.  If you have any questions, please contact Carol Immel at 972-727-2359 or caimmel@sbcglobal.net  or check the OCC website at www.samaritanspurse.org/occ.
