The New Testament uses the metaphor of a body to portray the church as a living organism with each part working in harmony with the other parts. To maintain a healthy body, our elders and ministers work to create an environment where every member is actively participating and growing. With Christ as the head of this body, each leader and each member has a unique and valuable function to perform.
